Last Sunday I did the photography for the San Diego and Yokohama Sister Cities 50th Anniversary Celebration. The afternoon was marked by the presentation of the key to the city of San Diego to Yokohama Mayor Hiroshi Nakada, a tea ceremony, Kabuki performance, and Taiko drumming from San Diego Taiko. It was nice to meet all the different people and of course take their photos. I was in paparazzi mode all day. They had a great dessert (with fresh rasberries) that I just didn't have time to finish. Should have taken some photographs of it. Congratulations again to the renewed friendship of San Diego and Yokohama, Japan.
